Indian Trail ABC Board Announces Second Spirit Store
The Indian Trail ABC Board is pleased to announce the addition of a second ABC Spirit Store that will be located on Monroe Road. We officially received the approval of the new locationon Wednesday, April 8, 2020, from the ABC Commission, which must approve all new spirit stores. The second Spirit Store location is needed because of the growth of Indian Trail. The Indian Trail ABC Board will continue to operate two spirit stores, one serving each side of U.S. 74.
There are no plans to close the existing store as the Board recently signed a five-year lease to keep it at its current location. With Indian Trail being the largest city in Union County, and its population split along U.S. 74, it is important to have a store that serves both sides of Town. This provides convenient access for all residents and keeps tax dollars in our Town. The ABC Spirit Store is one of the largest contributors of tax revenue to Indian Trail, with all profits going to the Town. The new location is in the building design and land survey phase.
